More than 30 flight simulation developers—including Prepar3D—have made an initial commitment to attending FlightSimExpo, North America’s community-driven flight simulation conference. The event takes place at Flamingo Las Vegas Resort on June 9-10, 2018.

The event consists of both a tradeshow floor and a conference room. FlightSimExpo 2018 will feature a variety of interactive exhibits, and a host of educational and informative seminars from professionals across the aviation and flight simulation industries. In addition, there will be social events after conference hours for networking and connecting with other simulation enthusiasts, aviation professionals, and developers from across the simulation industry.

Lockheed Martin will be in attendance to represent Prepar3D, a visual simulation platform that allows users to create training scenarios across aviation, maritime, and ground domains. Prepar3D has become the go-to platform for serious flight simmers, and developers creating top-tier add-on products for at-home simulation. Prepar3D will be represented by Adam Breed, Prepar3D’s engineering project manager, and Rob McCarthy, Prepar3D’s commercial development lead.

FlightSimExpo truly community-driven: the venue, host city, and event activities have all been determined by feedback from the community and developers. FlightSimExpo is an all-ages event, in a host city where there are great and inexpensive activities for families, individuals, and groups all nearby. The conference is working on partnering with local attractions, and bringing in top-tier speakers.

Early bird registration is available until February 1 for just $50. Discounted event rates for the hotel are approximately $135/night including all taxes and fees, over a 3-night stay. Attendees can register for the event online, and book rooms at www.flightsimexpo.com/hotel.
