Prepar3D v4.5 Hotfix 3 Now Available

The third hotfix to Prepar3D v4.5 (4.5.14.34698) is now available. It can be downloaded immediately from the Purchased Downloads section of the website. The Prepar3D v4.5 Hotfix 3 contains numerous new features and improvements. Various improvements were made to VR including native support for the Varjo XR-1 Mixed Reality headset. Multichannel capabilities have been enhanced with stability improvements and better structured scenario support. Additional PDK tools give developers more control over multiplayer and structured scenarios. Only the Client installer is required for the majority of fixes present in Prepar3D v4.5 Hotfix 3. The Content, Scenery, and SDK installers are optional.

What’s New in Prepar3D v5 – Now Available

Prepar3D v5 includes many new features, fixed and improvements to both the general platform and the Software Development Kit (SDK).  Additional details are listed below. Prepar3D v5 has Launched!

The entire Lockheed Martin team is proud to launch Prepar3D v5 after more than two years since our last major release.  Prepar3D v5 is a foundation release and first step in the development of an all new platform built for next generation simulation and training.  Beyond our traditional flight simulator roots, Prepar3D v5 is better positioned to deliver multi-domain simulation and training exercises including live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training where realism is critical.

Prepar3D at FlightSimExpo in Las Vegas this June – Cancelled

FlightSimExpo 2020 has been cancelled. More than 45 flight simulation and aviation organizations, including Prepar3D, are participating in FlightSimExpo this June! As North America’s largest enthusiast flight simulation trade show and conference, FlightSimExpo expects to draw more than 1,500 pilots and simmers to Tropicana Las Vegas on June 12-14, 2020.   This is an all-ages event that welcomes simmers and pilots of all experience levels.
