Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D will be featured during the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) – the world’s largest modeling, simulation and training conference held annually in Orlando, Fla. From Nov. 28 to Dec. 1, stop by booth 1449 to see how Lockheed Martin is advancing Prepar3D for training and mission rehearsal across aviation, ground and maritime domains.

At the show, try out Prepar3D in the C-130J configuration, catch an information session or participate in a one-on-one demonstration. You can also catch a glimpse of how Prepar3D is engaging young minds through immersive learning at National Flight Academy booth 3369.

REX Announce Support for Prepar3D

REX Game Studios is pleased to announce the expansion of their environmental tools for Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D. For current owners of REX and REX OverDrive for FSX, a special license will be available which will enable REX and REX OD to be used fully with Prepar3D’s new technology.

For commercial enterprises there is REX CE (Commercial Edition). REX CE has been in development and testing for over a year and employs REX’s new Weather Data Center, including an advanced new industrial weather engine.

Downloading Prepar3D Just Got Faster

We’re happy to announce that Prepar3D will now be delivered through an international content delivery network rather than through dedicated servers located in the United States.  We heard your feedback, and are excited that Prepar3D can now be downloaded much faster and more reliably; especially by our customers outside the United States.  There are over 20 international servers available for you to download Prepar3D from on our content delivery network.

All this is transparent to you the user as well.  Once you purchase Prepar3D, the same step-by-step instructions for downloading Prepar3D will be emailed to the address provided when the software is purchased at the Prepar3D Store.  Once you click the download links on your purchased downloads, the content delivery network will automatically find the best server for you and automatically route you there.  If you have any questions, you can always contact us.

The team is continuously listening to your feedback and enhancing Prepar3D, and enhancing the download experience is just one of the ways we’re making the Prepar3D experience better and better. More about the latest program enhancements are available here.

Orbx Announce New Side-by-Side Licensing Option for Prepar3D users

Orbx will very soon be offering a Side-By-Side License (SBSL) which will legally authorise you to use your currently installed FTX addons from within P3D. (For non-customer deployed use.)

These SBSLs will cost a flat rate of AU$8.95 for every Orbx FTX product licensed this way.

Aerosoft Release CorfuX Scenery with Prepar3D Support

Hi Everyone,

Very pleased to report that Aerosoft has released support for Prepar3D in their fantastic Corfu X scenery add-on. More information can be found here:,,D11447

Although it still shows FSX, version 1.10 of the scenery has installers for Prepar3D and has been tested on v1.2.


Download and Web Server Issues

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately our ISP is having some technical issues that is causing our download server to be unavailable. It also brought down our web server a couple of times over the past two days. It does not appear to be related to the number of downloads, but a wider issue with the ISP. As soon as we get more information from the ISP, we will pass it on. Sorry for the inconvenience, it is very frustrating at our end as well I assure you.
