Nice work. Note that in FSX/ESP the max texture resolution was 1024 so images got downsampled at runtime. If you want full 4096, make sure to up your Global Texture Resolution in the General Display Settings menu.

Yes, it is indispensable, otherwise you cannot benefit from the sharpness of textures.
