what is the difference between cloud turbulence and wind turbulence, if any? Does one countermand the other? Should they be set to the same value? If I set a wind layer that overlaps with a cloud layer and they both have turbulence values set, what happens if they are different and why? what happens if they are the same and why? Or are they mutually exclusive? Thanks.

found the answer i needed (below) in the non-SDK Prepar3D Learning Center.

"You can set turbulence in wind layers or cloud layers, or in both. If you have wind and clouds set at the same altitude and you set turbulence in both layers, the turbulence you define for the wind layer will take precedence."
