Hi All,
I see it states RTX 3080 as a recommended graphics card for P3D v5. I am thinking of using P3D v5 and A2A C172 Trainer together. Just wanted to know if the RTX 3070 would still be considered as recommended? I put the system configuration below:
13th Generation Intel Core i7-13700K
32GB, 2x16GB, DDR5 up to 4400MHz UDIMM non-ECC memory
Nvidia GeForce RTX3070, 3660T
1TB PCIe NVMe Class 40 M.2 SSD
Windows 10 Pro
Dell 34 Monitor - S3422DWG WQHD 3440 x 1440 (DisplayPort: 144 Hz, HDMI: 100 Hz)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
System Requirements for P3D v5
Re: System Requirements for P3D v5
I have a 3060 with 12 GB of VRAM, and that one works just great. Unless the A2A aircraft requires a lot of VRAM, then you should be fine.

What fps u getting there?
Re: System Requirements for P3D v5
You can't really compare different installations that way.
What you get would depend on:
1. Your basic system, including CPU and its clock rate, motherboard and its BIOS, configuration of your RAM and disks
2. Your OS and other software
3. Your P3D settings
4. What underlying P3D add-ons you have (LC, mesh, photoscenery)
5. What EGHR add-on you have and its configuration
6. And finally what AI traffic you have and how much is active in the area
Besides, I don't care much about the frame rate per se, I care about smoothness (of which the frame rate is just a component).

I have the lowly GTX 1660 ti with only 6g ram on board. It works fine with my A2A 182. I have fps set for 37, usually get upper 20s to my set goal.
