Im sure it was reported before but Id like to add something from my side.

This effect is very strange, and if you look against the Sun, the model itself becomes a little transparent and you can see clouds through it.
Here are examples:

Maybe fix for this in 5.2? :)

I'm experiencing this too. I'm really curious what causes this.

It's caused by overcast conditions and related to the camera view.....it seems like at overcast conditions, from the camera downwards, becomes a shadow.....and upwards from the camera it stays sunny. Regardless the clouds.

Some reported this already and we hope this can be sorted out.

Or.....LM is far ahead of the climatechange on earth and has already implemented a shadow to avoid the earth of getting heated too much.....

I leave this up to your fantasy.....;-)

Based on my experience it happens with non-overcast conditions too, overcast conditions just makes the issue much more obvious. It looks like a full-screen quad casting shadows, I'm really curious about what it is caused by.
