Hello Concerned,

Recently purchased an academic license of Prepar3d V4.
While Installing getting the below error, Please help:

Prepar3D encountered an error during start up and will now close.
The license type is undefined due to an unsuccessful installation.

0x80070643 - fatal error during installation

System Specs: Windows 7 (64 bit)
i7-4790k @ 4.00GHz
RAM: 16GB
Card: Nvidia MSI GTX980ti

Hi AbdulKV,

Running the Setup_Prepar3D.exe should correctly create all registry keys, but please see this forum post if it does not: viewtopic.php?f=6322&t=124801

If you do end up getting prompted to Activate every run of Prepar3D, go to the Prepar3D installation directly and right click the Prepar3D.exe and select Run as administrator to force the registry rebuild.

Hello Adam,

Tried your links but failed.
The Setup wont go further client installation and will give me the error as stated above.
Even Tried restoring my computer.

But just wont help.

Hello AbdulKV

Have you checked the MD5 Checksum to Insure you have a good download ?
