Hi Geoff,



Thanks for your excellent questions. The core compiled files in Prepar3D are not supposed to be re-distributed outside of the application, so things like bgl, aircraft models and so on shouldn't be taken out of the app for redistribution on their own. (This is actually the same as FSX and most other sofware apps as well.) If it is a bug that we need to fix, then we will put it in the queue. I don't think that there would be any issues deploying it with a full P3D solution, but then you might run into compatibility issues between systems and as the product was updated.

Will look on with interest as Lockheed finds solutions to addresses the difficulties of Scenery corrections, and Nav updates.



The way I read it, if one follows the Lincencing "to the letter", decompiling bgl files to xml is also not allowed, but it seems that that box got opened a long time ago, and is accepted practice now.
