I'm planning on doing a total clean re-install with 2.5 and a measured approach to the add ons I install back in. The main aim for me is to reduce the VAS issues that I continue to have with 2.4 (and 2.3).
This. Such a huge bug that completely ruins night landings not being addressed. I do appreciate the updates, but these types of issues HAVE to be resolved ASAP, whether by LM or third party or collaboratively.
We should have the bridge extrusions fixed, and are looking into the terrain shadow issues. If you're in a forum with Rob Ainscough, you can thank him for helping us with these two issues.
Good to hear ! What about the flashing vertical artifacts when the building autogen slider is full right (even if the graphic card is below maximum use) ?

Ive read in the list: "Fixed an issue that would prevent effects from visually displaying if the effect was at a low level of detail distance". Would this mean that maybe we could see aitraffic lights more far than usually at night?
I've tried several versions of nVidia drivers and the problem remains. Default airport runway lights work. The problem is when you have Aerosoft add-on airports installed, those runway lights do not turn on. There are many users complaining about the same issue. I'm not placing the blame on anyone, it's just really annoying that I can't land at an airport of my choosing at night because of this.
Is the VSYNC (screen tearing) issue resolved for windows 8.1.Or will it only be resolved for Windows 10 (a few months away)? Windows 10 will be more stable and be a free upgrade they say.
At some point... Microsoft was supposed to bring back aero for Win 8, thus resolving the VSYNC issue for P3D lol.
ps.. VSYNC works on windows 7 if you switch on aero.
Are you referring to the VASI lights? If so, thats an NVIDIA driver issue. Roll back to the last one from the most current.
I am refering to Aerosoft airports. LM has modified the FSX layers priority and it would be great to perform a come back in order to recover the runways lighting.
