Just a quick question: I have used the tweaking tool at http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html for FSX previously and it says it works for Prepar3d but that hasn't been updated since 2010 ( Version 1.0.7 (last change 12/8/2010 6:25PM EST)). I'm wondering if is safe to use or will it screw up P3D 1.4?

I have submitted my config to it to see and it scrambles all the categories around so I'm not too sure about using this since there are so many changes to P3D since 2010.

Hello Steve, you can safely run is; you get a file in return with the necessary changes; look at those changes before implementing. Rename your existing prepar3d.cfg into prepar3d_org.cfg en rename the new file into prepar3d.cfg; place it in the directory where your original is. .C:\Users\**yourname**\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D

If you don't like it, just use the original one.

I've been using a Tweaked Bojote P3D.cfg since I installed P3D and have not had any issues with it. P3D runs fine, so you can try how it works for you. And as Jan says, if you don't like it, just copy the original one back in!

To be honest, Bojotes tool has not done much for our Sim at all. Also tried using the limiter with P3D setting it to 30 and setting P3D to unlimited, and no noticeable changes were noticed. It seems P3D runs great on its own, of course a fast CPU and GPU do help too. Just my own thoughts.
