Display Resolution Error Message

Post by dnrwhite »

After a computer upgrade I reinstalled P3DV5(now 3x) and when I try to load the program saying that P3D requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024X720 and wants to know if I want to change. Whether I answer yes or no, the app simply closes. I am running a 4K monitor at 4K and my Nvidia control is set to 4k so I am certainly exceeding the 1024 requirement. I surely would appreciate a fix fo this. Have been running P3D since verstion1.2 and have never encountered anything like this. I can't use P3D at all so have installed MSFS2020 which works.

Hello dnrwhite ,

As a quick test did you try using your old monitor?

Just to verify:
What was your PC upgraded from and to (specs) or is it a new PC?

Was P3D fully Uninstalled and then a fresh full install?

Specifically: what graphics adapter do you have, and is P3D set to use it?
