Coming into KJFK

Here we are about to land at KJFK in the Vertualcol CRJ 700. KJFK scenery by Flight Sim Dream Team. There is so much development and so much going on around KJFK that I had to lower the traffic settings to get decent frame rates. Air traffic rates at 20 and road traffic to 15, no water traffic.

With P3D5 I mostly flew in Orbx True Earth areas and other Orbx regions, but P3D6 is so much better I have been flying over more of the USA. I have all my Orbx scenery ported over to P3D6. I have most of the Fly Tampa, Flightbeam, and Flight Sim Dream Team airports. They work well in P3D6. An outfit that goes by the initials SKAD makes nice airport scenery for Corpus Christi and some other airports. FSim Studios makes an interesting airport for Cancun and some other Caribbean airports. All of these look great in P3D6 in my opinion.

I mostly have A2A and Carenado aircraft. I have Manfred Jhan's DC3/C47 which is fun to fly. Lately, I have been flying the Vertualcol CRJ as in the image above. It has longer legs and is faster than what I have been flying. It was inexpensive, has several variations and a lot of skins. Looks OK and the cockpit is not too bad. It has a few quirks that might be off putting for some, but mainly its not too complicated and easy to learn. Not all buttons work and not all systems are modeled, but what you need to fly it works.
