Windows 11 2H22 + New Nvidia Driver ?

Post by RAMMSTEIN »

Hi,

currently I have absolutely no problems with P3D V5.3.
Easily had no CTD for over 900 hours.
But I'm always annoyed by Windows and NV drivers with updates.
Since my P3D system is important to me and is only there for Sims, I don't want to break anything.
I currently have 512.90 Nvidia drivers.
If I update Windows to 2H22 now, I also have to update the Nvidia drivers.
Hence my question, how does P3D work with 2H22 and current Nvidia drivers.
Few versions before there were problems with Nvidia driver, so I didn't update it anymore.

thx

Why on earth would you want to go to Windows 11?

I have Windows 10 22H2 and nVidia driver 526.47, and that works very well.

Hello RAMMSTEIN ,

WIN11 and current Nvidia drivers are working ok on my setup with P3Dv4.3.17.28160, P3Dv4.5.14.34698, Xplane11, Xplane12 early access, MSFS2020 and all my Add-on products.

Last time I checked WIN11 Update was still a Free Update.

Also, if you do update and do not like WIN11 (unlikely IMO) you have a limited time to revert to your previous version.

Note:
I like WIN11 and now have it (Free) on 2 PC’s.
