[RESOLVED] P3Dv4 vs P3Dv5 when purchasing

Hi peeps. My name is Jarod. I'm new here. Looking to buy version 4 since the FeelThere E-jet is only setup for that version. Just curious though, Am I able to download version 5 later on or will I have to buy the update? I'm new to this prepar3d software and I'm a little confused by all of this but I'd like to be able to get more familiar with the current aircraft I'm flying. Appreciate any help you guys can offer.

Hello Jarod, and welcome on board.

Versions 4 and 5 are completely different versions and also separate purchases, there is no "upgrade" option. They can happily co-exist on the same computer, but if you install both then it is up to you to keep a water-tight bulkhead between the two.
