Maybe MkStudios LPPT can verify the same problem same gate you were at?

Hi,
I don't think it is a scenery issues, from what I could read it happens in different scenery. There is something wrong in P3DV5.1 I guess.
Happy landings

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
@ ajra1966 ,
How many times (which airports) have you had the problem since using the cfg fix?

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
Just the one arriving at LPPT, did not have the time / patience to perform more flights. As I said, it is too frustrating ...
Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
@ ajra1966 ,
After arrival, and parking did you start setting up for another flight before the crash?
Or did the crash happen as soon as you set your brakes.

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
I have the exact same issue with the error listed few quotes above. Flying Aerosoft A321 from UUEE to LIRF. Soon after take off at the exact same point it P3D5.1 stops working / crashes to desktop. I do not think it is related to any scenarios.
However... Reading thru the post on AVSIM came across this:
"Posted November 4 (edited)
Got news for you:
V5.1 added a new feature called „Adaptive Simulation Group“, mainly intended to reduce visual jittering when flying in close formation with other traffic (multiplayer or AI).
Due to the way SODE works internally (it basically injects AI objects...), Prepar3D picked them up into that new simulation group and when SODE tried to remove the injected object, the sim crashed. This is going to be fixed within Prepar3D.
Until then, there is a workaround (hoping you don‘t do much close formation flying), courtesy of P3Ds dev team: You can disable this new adaptive simulation group system in the Prepar3D.cfg
[SIM]
AdaptiveSimGroupEnable=False"
Adding this line to the cfg file seems to be the interim solution...
At least it work for me...
Thx,
Mike

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
Yes, as I said above I hit the brakes, shutdown the engines and that was the exact moment when I had CTD.

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
Hi,
today I had CTD when crossing up FL140 out of LPPT. It is becoming impossible to fly on P3DV5.1, I think I'll wait for a LM update before I fly again.

@ ajra1966 ,
Maybe I (and other pilots) could test the same if there was a little more information.
Were you on a SID out of LPPT?
What was your route?
All pilots arriving at an airport and setting their brakes should be crashing?
All pilots departing LPPT should be crashing?

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
@ajra1966,
Do you have SODE installed?
The crashes you experience look exactly like they would if SODE is installed, and that is a known issue.
If you have SODE installed, then the fix is outlined above this in this thread.

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
Yes, I have SODE 1.7.1 and GSX L2 and yes I have applied the "AdaptiveSimGroupEnable=False" thing to Prepar3D.cfg [SIM] section and yes the CTDs continue to happen.
Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
@ ajra1966 ,
I have SODE 1.7.1, and AdaptiveSimGroupEnable=False in Prepar3D.cfg [SIM] section and No CTD
I do not use GSX .
I just did a departure out of LPPT and no problems.

Re: CTD in UCRTBASE.DLL
Hi Vaughan,
so you are a lucky guy. But unfortunately it does not mean that all is ok for everybody, even because installed software is likely different, e.g. I use OrbX, MkStudios LPPT, Aerosoft EGLL and FSLabs A320 (not a default aircraft), Env textures, shaders and sounds, etc.
