Dear Ladies and Gentleman,

as i tried my first flight in V5 today i was rather disappointed Performance-whise. my 2080S gets up to 70° and my CPU is even struggles to stay at 80° wich is way to hot. ive never had such Problems in V4, why is that the case and is it Maybe going to get fixed ?

What kind of FPS are you getting? If your hardware is overheating, you may need to look at your bios settings for power management, cooling, etc. Something else is likely going on. Generally applications should be able to fully load your GPU and CPU, and your drivers power management should clock them down to keep them at a safe temperature.

changed with the last Hotfix, but now i somehow get the issue that it starts lagging after a few hours on a longhaul, i tried disableing any addon (without the airplane tho) but it doesnt make a difference so i guess it must be a problem with P3d, i tried many aircraft, happens in PMDG 747, Aerosoft A330 and even Qw 787. if i save the scenario, restart p3d its just fine again.

any suggestions ?

thanks very much

greetings

I think a few users have reported similar issues, myself included.
Hopefully LM is looking into this.

A quote:

"PMDG 747, Aerosoft A330 and even Qw 787"

There have been report in the threads of these aircraft having issues with v. 5.

Have you contacted the manufacturers of these for support?
