Prepare v5 problem display's

after just buying 4.5 and, i switched to p3dv5. 1 week ago so with the hotfix include.

4.5 works fine on 2 screens and use it for a new view left or right
of the plain.

in p3dv5 it crascht
instantly but also crashes when i using it on 1 screen.

I use "new view" to view from a tower or back or front of the plain but in p3dv5 it crasht continuously.

specs: Radeon 5700 8gb m DX12 with the latest drivers cpu I7 9700K and 16gb mem.
an new clean W10 installed and runs with DX12

P3Dv4.5 works oke but p3d 5 would handle fps better and work with directX 12 that's why i switched.

does anyone know how to fix this.

Martin,

It is not possible to give you a time frame in such matters, there are simply too many variables in this.

You need to check for AMD driver updates daily.

unfortunately this is not an option for me, I will not get the opportunity to try it within the money back time so I would like to get my money back.
Then check it out in a while.

assuming a good solution and a new start in the future.

regarding the windows10 2020 2004 update, I have been able to see the whole list of what this contains, but there is no link to a problem with DrX12 or problems with a recent video card,
only old NVidia drivers.

see the message below from Microsoft.

Microsoft say:

Issue with older drivers for Nvidia display adapters (GPU)

Nvidia and Microsoft have found incompatibility issues with certain versions
of Nvidia display adapter drivers and Windows 10, version 2004 (the Windows 10 May 2020 Update).
Windows 10 devices with affected Nvidia display driver versions
might receive a stop error with a blue screen or other issues during or after installing
the update to Windows 10, version 2004. The affected drivers are any version lower than 358.00.

To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on Windows 10
devices with affected Nvidia display drivers drivers installed from being offered Windows 10,
version 2004 or Windows Server, version 2004 until the driver has been updated.


we are now put in the waiting room with all kinds of excuses that the problem with W10 or other 3rd parties.
but New Amd or nVidea cards and drivers should be work well.

I read in the forum that update 2004 fixes the DRX12 problems and had my PC checked by
Microsoft for the 2004 update and found to be okay.

Now have the update on my PC and Prepare3 v4.5. turned better than ever.
Also let 3Dmarket do a test and the results are better than before.

But,
Unfortunately P3D v5.0 still not working with 2 screens or with 1 screen when i
try a new view in P3D v5.

What do I have to wait for now Jorgen
All drivers are new and evrything is updated.
