adding plane textures in P3D4
I've just tried to add a texture to a plane in P3D4. The system refused my entry into the cfg file, I tried a different plane, and the same thing happened. I'd appreciate guidance on how to do a simple texture-add in P3D4. Thanks!

Have you included the correct .air file in the cfg entry...are the numbers consecutive?? and correct..
I am assuming that the texture is not showing...

Re: adding plane textures in P3D4
If this is under Windows 10, and your P3D is installed in either the C:\Program Files or the C:\Program Files (x86), then it could be UAC that prevents you from doing what you want to do.

Re: adding plane textures in P3D4
Tried disabling the UAC -- no joy. Still get the message that I'm denied entry into the cfg file. Same is true for panel cfg file. ???

Which aircraft?I've just tried to add a texture to a plane in P3D4. The system refused my entry into the cfg file, I tried a different plane, and the same thing happened. I'd appreciate guidance on how to do a simple texture-add in P3D4. Thanks!
What is the path to the file?
What is the full (refused) message you get?
