Stuttering again and again

Post by ryanair007 »

Now i need some advice .

p3d v4.4 running perfect with no sttters what so ever .

P3d v4.5 Lag stutters and not a great experiance .

2 questions here , i have the lateste nvidia driver . ( could be nvidia the fault )
Several microsoft big updates have ben put out since p3d 4.4 do you think that these updats killes fps and creats stutters long frames and lag .

Running Reyzen 9 4.5 hts on all 12 cores
gtx 1080 16 gb ddr 4 3800
psu 1200 w .

Very good system used to work very well .

So i tried to back to 4.4 and the same result so maybe after all its not lm faut all this stuttering .

If some one could help . Thanks .

nVidia is not at fault, I have v 4.5 with the hotfix, a GTX 960 card with the latest drivers and no stutters.

Hello Sir
I would really like to know what is your exact CPU model? is it the 3900X ? if so, can you please let me have a conversation with you via email or private message about it? I am super excited about the new Ryzen CPUs.

Best Regards

This problem occurred to me after recent Win 10 upgrades and I began a systematic search for the problem. I don't think I found the problem, but I did find a cure for my system. I had transferred almost all video options contained in Prepar3D's Options/Graphics area to my Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 in an attempt to improve frame rates. That it did, but recently the stuttering began. My stuttering stopped when I reassigned the "Frame Rate Controls" back to P3D by turning VSync back ON and ticking the Triple Buffering box. My Target Frame Rate is set to "Unlimited" and I get between 30 and 125 fps.
