New install/repair of Win10 64bit Pro & P3Dv4.5

My OS Win10 64bit Pro is installed in 1st SSD, my P3Dv4.5 installed in 2nd SSD and sceneries in 3rd SSD.
If I do a new install/repair of OS will I loose P3Dv4.5?

You will need to uninstall P3D before you do your repair or reinstall of Windows, then reinstall P3D after you have finished with Windows. Back up all you add-ons first or move them to a temporary safe location, after reinstalling P3D add them back in. Those add-ons that you have on the third SSD should be OK there.

But let us step back a bit, why do you think you will need to repair or uninstall Windows?

I do agree with JorgenSA questioning you why you need to repair or reinstall Windows, which is a very drastic measure that you should only do when asked to do so by technical support. Usually this means you have run out of ideas and don't know what else to do but you would be better off trying to solve the problem you are having. Repair/restore of Windows results in a complete flush down the toilet of all things installed and your settings.

However, there are ways to restore Windows such that your applications are retained, but before doing so you need to do your homework with perhaps Windows support and using Google to learn about those options.

Sorry about so long delay but I had gastric surgery and stayed away almost 2 months.
Trouble is that my pc keeps going to motherboard setup everytime not allowing Win10 (only after I close MB setut that it works).
Some programs simply don`t run (like their .exe files aren`t installed - which they are).
P3Dv4 run fine but if something bad happens do I need to uninstall P3Dv4 before making a repair/new installatio9n of Win10?

Hope your recovery is going well.

My advice is to resolve the problems with your computer before attempting to do anything with P3D or any other application. First, this does not sound like a Windows problem but more of a system problem. If it fails to boot Windows and then reverts to your BIOS or UEFI screen (aka your motherboard) then you have a hardware problem. It might be something as simple as a problem with the boot menu or it could be a battery or a few other things less likely. Do you know any geeks?

I have never had a battery on a motherboard go out, and I probably average over 6 years of usage on every computer I've ever owned. That said, I imagine they are cheep watch batteries that are easy to pick out & replace. So good advice.

I have a seen a computer fail to Post, leading to an infinite reset loop that would just recycle over & over again until the power was unplugged. That one had an interesting source, but it doesn't fit the symptoms in your description. If you have dual bios, then make use of them and switch to the back-up!!

Changed MB`s battery, updated clock time and in 1st boot after that windows boot was again normal so it appears that Dan had it all figured.
Lets hope this issue is resolved and tks to you all for helping me.
