Aircraft Selection Screen is white / no aircraft visible

Hi Guys (& girls)

I have uninstalled P3D v4.5 and gone back to 4.4.

However, when in 4.5 the vehicle/aircraft selection panel in the start up screen would white out.
Now that I've gone back to 4.4 the problem has followed me.

Does anyone know how to sort this one out? I've already done two uninstalls and reinstalls of 4.4 to try and get other gremlins fixed since doing the stupid 4.5 upgrade so doubt another is the solution.

It will only "white out" after confirming the selection; get back to P3D4.5 and wait for this little inconvenience will be solved by LM
