Reformatted hard drive, reinstalled windows 7 and P3D but now have problem running P3D.

P3D installed on new SSD.

Installed P3d okay but when running as admin I receive the following error:

"Prepar 3D was unable to load some program files and will now exit. Please reinstall Prepar3D to restore or repair the program installation."

Tried uninstalling, reinstalling repairing reformatting drive but nothing helps.

Any advice?

Thanks

G'day Michael, I had a similar problem BUT I have been running a dual P3D/FSX install on two different drives. There mat be some clues at my web site. (See sig below) I now everything bar one working very nicely. Even the lawyers would be proud of me. LOL

Fixed the problem. Just installed direct X form here

and all was sweet again.

I thought windows update would have updated direct x but was wrong. Hope this helps others.

Thanks
