[RESOLVED] Wings and Plane are very Dark Prepar3D v4.4

hello I just updated my Prepar3d to V4.4 and I am encountering many problems. The first one is that the wings are far to dark and I can't see them during the nighttime. I have tried moving the brightness around and many settings but nothing works. the plane is also barely visible when I go into spot view. I need to know what can be done in order to fix this problem.

Are you using any Shader Utilities like PTA, Envshade, Tomato Shade or even ReShade ?

If so, have confirmed compatibility with Prepar3D v4.4 ? Have you tried disabling these and then testing ?

Have you tried regenerating the Prepar3D.cfg file and the Shaders folder ?

Not using any Shaders from any site, never have.
Also me Prepar3d is working, everything is how it should be during the daytime but at night, it is just to dark.

Hello Folks,

I ham having a an issue with version 4.4 where my vc at night is extremely dark. I have recalibrated my screen to no avail.
I don't have any antivirus and have disabled windows defender for reinstallation. This did not help.
Any suggestions?

Hey guys,

I thought I had the same problem and I decided to do some more research. I think, this is not a bug. It must be related to new lightning features. I always fly with real date and time and yesterday was new moon. I then switched to a date with full moon and man, what a SIGNIFICANT difference!

Try it out.

Set your date to December 22nd, 2018 (Western United States), or another full moon date for your location. https://www.timeanddate.com/moon/phases/ See if your issue remains.

I updated just the client from P3D V4.3 to 4.4. In response to the previous post, its not necessarily a solution because I like to fly in real world time. this is just abnormally dark.

I also can confirm that if you move the date to Nov 22nd and fly at night that the wing and plane are now clearly visible
