[RESOLVED] No Effects in P3D V4.2

Hello, I have flown in this sim for quite a while now and i noticed an issue not to long ago.I seem to have no effects, With effects i mean things like no contrails,no touchdown effect, no cold start engine effect and the list goes on. I don't know the reason behind why this is. My only real explanation is that i have a 6GB GTX 1060 graphics card while the recommended amount of GB is 8 on the requirements page. Do i need to purchase a new graphics card in order to see effects?

If you takeoff in the default P3D F22 and fully advance the throttles do you see the afterburner effect?

Yep i can see the afterburner effects, but when i land i dont see the touchdown effect, the tire smoke wich comes from the gear upon touchdown.

Do you also see the wingtip vortices?

Yes, I do also see the wingtip vortices. But i don't see any effects on other default aircraft like the mooney bravo. I tested to set my engine on fire and there is no fire effect. Also on the PMDG 737 i dont' see any effects

If you set the default F22 for an immediate engine failure do you see this engine fire effect?

Go to your P3Dv4 folder for the default F22:
(on my setup it is here: C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\IRIS Raptor Driver

Open the aircraft.cfg file in e.g., Notepad

Copy the contents of the [LIGHTS] and [EFFECTS] sections and paste it in your next post here.

Go to your P3D Effects folder and see if it is listed there.

So, you do have some effects.

With the information you posted about your system/P3D setup and the problem it is hard to tell why some effects are absent.

Have you considered a System Rest, P3D software Reset, P3D General Debugging Steps or P3D Uninstall/Reinstall?

I have reinstalled P3D V4, Checked if any addons could be doing this issue but i couldn't find any issues with the addons. I don't know what the issue is at all.
