Vertical acceleration

Hello,

I'm having difficulties with the VELOCITY WORLD Y variable, reading seemingly inconsistent value.

My goal was to have a pure vertical G load (not total g load), but this variable seems not to be even related to th G FORCE variable when wings are level.

I suspect the problems comes from the Simconnect layer, as I use FSUIPC to gather this data. Under FS9 it worked correctly but not under FSX/Prepar3d.

Thanks for your help,

JL

Try using ACCELERATION BODY Y, which will give you the vertical acceleration relative to the aircraft. VELOCITY WORLD Y will give you the vertical velocity relative to the earth.
