[RESOLVED] View changes from VC to outside view randomly for no reason

I just did a new install of P3Dv3 for the first time, and would like to know why when I am flying along, doesn't matter if I am on auto pilot or trimmed out flying manually or on approach, just out of the blue it switches from VC to outside view?? Very annoying lol....

Could you provide us with some more details, like:

• Which aircraft are you flying? Does it happen in multiple aircraft?
• Are you using any add-ons aside from those in your signature?
• What key is your "change view" command bound to?

It has happened with every aircraft I have flown so far, Carenado S550, RA Turbine Duke, XP Lear 28, Default B350 King Air.

The only other software addons would be Orbx scenery, FSPS P3D Booster, FSXPilot, and PrecipitFX. The only other hardware would be two Thrustmaster Cougar MFD's.

My "change view" command is mapped to my #1 button on the #1TM Cougar MFD, and I have a view straight ahead 3D VC mapped to button #1 on my Pro Flight yoke, which I need to do a quick back to straight ahead 3D VC view lol...I have also deleted all of the default keyboard commands from the P3D buttons/keys settings, so my keyboard has no FS commands what so ever.

Doogles -

Try clearing out your :change view" keybind. That would make sure that something isn't causing your controller to think that the button was pressed when it wasn't.

I'd also try turning off the Prepar3D Booster and FSXPilot, just to see if those had any effect on the camera.

Ok, I have cleared and reassigned my "view(next category)" keybind, and reviewed any other view mode mappings.

I have also uninstalled Prepar3D Booster. This issue was present before I installed FSXPilot, and I don't use it with my RA T/Duke (the aircraft I use most often) so I know it is not caused by FSXPilot.

This issue remains.

Just an update on a possible clue/cause....it seems to only happen when there is thunderstorms with lightning in the area lol...

Maybe an ASN issue?

I am having the same issue. One button on my Saitek X-55 causes the view to go to Spot and if you push again it toggles to Nearest Tower and then back and forth to Spot as you keep pressing the button.

I have all view commands and keyboard assignments deleted in P3D.

This happens while using any aircraft, so it is not plane specific. A2A C182, PMDG NGX, RealAir Duke Turbo, etc

The actual purpose of the button is mapped to Parking Brake, and that works, but I get the "phantom" view assignment as well.

I use EZDOK for all my views and it works normally, except when it is "over-ridden" by this "phantom" command.

This is a new, clean installation of Windows10. Running P3D v 3.3.5.17625

This can be marked as resolved, after updating to v3.4.9 it has seemed to have fixed itself....
