Choosing Between Realism And Good Looking

Postby darren270600 » Mon Apr 29, 2019 5:06 pm

It's a hard decision to make however I decided to make the leap. I have always strived to get the best-looking sim possible however for the past month or so I've taken away a lot of colour add-ons etc.
I tried to make the sim look nice and bright as if it was a brand new out the box model.
I think it turned out great but id love to hear your thoughts?

Looks awesome. I wonder how long it took to work it out.

Interesting flight and commentary Darren.

I don't know how to put this politey though; The first thing that catches my attention is the lack of shadows. I believe the lack of them shatters the realism and flattens each view. P3D has great options of 'shadows cast' and 'shadows received'. If you have frame rate problems you could leave them off for general use but I think for a demonstration flight recording for posterity they should be on.

Only my opinion but otherwise a very interesting video Darren. Congratulations.
