Post by PilotTom123 »

Hi there,
I bought and installed Prepar3D v5 on 6 march 2021. When i check the version in de software i notice that there is 5.0.31.3253.
On the website i noticed that the latest version is 5.1.12.26829.
I downloaded the full downloaded version. How comes i got not the update? What must i do to have the latest patch?
Kind Regards

If you bought and downloaded P3D on March 6, then you should certainly have 5.1.12.26829.

That should have been the only version that you could download at the time.

Try to go to your installation folder and find Prepar3d.exe there.

Right-click on the file and select Properties. Go to the details tab and see what the version number there is.

But in another directory i found another file : setup_prepar3D.exe and when i check properties i see 5.1.12.26829.

Go to the download section and download the client only for v. 5.1 HF1.

Then, using the Windows Control Panel, uninstall the client only from your present installation. After that (this will de-activate your P3D installation) reboot, then install the client you just downloaded, using the client.msi. Run P3D, you will be asked for your ID and password, and you are OK.
