Correct folder for V4?

Post by G3YTI »

Hi All,
just joined so I hope this is in the right place.
I have P3D V3 and now (today) P3D V4, both on the same drive which I understand is ok.
I am experiencing stuttering and lockups even though my FPS is around 80!, down to 2 FPS on approach then back up to 80 ish.
My P3D V3 installation was installed in Program Files (X86) folder, but V4 has installed in programs folder not X86.
Is this correct???.
Pd3v3 runs great but as mentioned V4 is stuttering, I have scenery settings etc set at high as V3.
Proc i5 3.40 gig x4 16 Gig memory, GTX 1060 6 Gig mem, Windows 7.
I note that an update (hot fix) is available, maybe that addresses my problems??.
Any advice would be most welcome As I paid for the Professional license .

Hello,

To have us assist you further, could you please review this topic and let us know the results from following the troubleshooting steps?

Also, the program files folder is fine as Prepar3D is 64 bit.
