Aircraft and Scenery the same as what?

I have come to the conclusion there are no Airliners ie Boeing 747's 737's included in the purchase???? meaning I would have to buy these add-ons from third parties.

Do I need MS flight sim or are they two separate flight sims.

Same aircraft and scenery as the Academic version of P3D. Whether you choose the Academic or Profession version will depend on your own situation and what you want P3D for. P3D is not intended to be for "entertainment" purposes. It's a profession flight sim package. You will need to read the terms and conditions regarding both versions and determine for yourself which version you should get because it's actually forbidden to discuss licensing on these forums.

As far as the default aircraft go, you are correct. There are no commercial airliners in P3D (as far as I can remember). Personally I only use payware aircraft anyway, so I never really bothered browsing through the stock aircraft.

P3D is a completely independent sim. You don't need MS Flight Sim to be able to use it. P3D is a lot more stable than MS Flight Sim. It is much better optimised to run on today's hardware.
Best Regards,

Neal McCullough.
