Map mode on the Garmin 430 Bonanza A36
I am flying the stock A36 but for the life of me I cannot find how to get to the map on the 430, I can make a plan OK but I want to track my progress on the GPS map, any help please?.

Forgive my ignorance on this, as I haven't really played about with the default aircraft, but as far as I know the default A36 doesn't have a GPS incuded? The Garmin GPS is a payware addon.

I know it's been a while since you posted, and, you might have already found the answer, but if you haven't, go to your main P3D directory, then Ecosystem/Carenado/A36 Bonanza for the manuals. Hopefully in the manual will give you the answer(s). I don't have P3D running right now, and if I did, I could check it myself and help you more.falcon9999 wrote:I am flying the stock A36 but for the life of me I cannot find how to get to the map on the 430, I can make a plan OK but I want to track my progress on the GPS map, any help please?.

Hi, How do you even select an airport? Does it only work with the Flight Planner?

You can put any air port in using the ICAO code if you click this button:
