[RESOLVED] Transferring Flight Controls in shared cockpits?

Postby papafox » Sun Nov 06, 2016 1:11 am

In flight instruction, a pilot and an instructor typically transfer manipulation of flight controls back and forth throughout a flight session. Might it be possible to do so in a Prepar3d 3.4 multi-player shared-cockpit session? If this is not possible, are there any plans to develop such a capability with Prepar3d? The potential strikes me as enormous here. Thx.

papafox,

Controls can be transferred or requested in multiplayer shared cockpit depending on the current owner. The default keybinding for both requesting and transferring is Shift+T.

Clifton, I tried Shift-T and it works beautifully. Thanks so much! Flight controls transfer with the handoff and without the handoff either pilot can do things like raise gear, lower flaps, change radios, autopilot settings, etc.

Much appreciated!
