Trustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X Joystick

Post by PH-NK57 »

Hi All,
I was wondering if I can use my T.Flight HOTAS X Joystick with Prepar3d and does Prepar3d have a calibration function?
Thanks for your time.

Yes, you can... I have one myself and it worked right out of the box on my P3D.

As for the calibration function, I actually do not know, I have never needed to use it. But I would assume there is one....

Hi Jorgen,
Thanks very much for confirmation, I also found a document with some more information on the trustmaster website: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/pro ... hotasx-en/
Kind regards,

There's a windows app joy.cpl, which you can start to calbibrate within the system.

Thank you very much, much appreciated.

A great help this forum, I had to install Windows 10 to be able to use Prepar3d and since I use Linux there is a lot to learn, I have to admit Windows 10 is changed in many ways over the last 5 years, but just not sure with all this metric data going across what to disable/enable and what would effect my Flight-simulator in a negative way...

That joy panel is great help, thanks a lot, I finally got it together with the reset combination of pressing at the same time the mapping and preset key, all working... I also discovered there is a driver from Trustmaster for Windows 10.

Great to hear I could help. Earlier this Joystick calibration was in the system settings. Now you have to know the name of it.

Cheers

For a P3D add-on that expands and simplifies the joystick button remapping, you might want to check out FSUIPC, available here:

Thanks Jorgen :-)
I have now bought the Prepard3d and need to get my windows 10 installed, cleaned and perform optimal, looks like I need to read a lot, I might also need to have a bigger SSD drive in my PC, need to find out how much space I require... gosh a lot to do, looking forward...
