PC Hardware Question

Postby kyurem800 » Thu Sep 24, 2020 6:09 pm

Hi All! I have been looking at PCs and have my eye on a specific one currently. I am relatively new to the different PC specs and configs so please be patient with me . The PC I am looking at has an AMD Ryzen 5 3500 with an AMD Radeon RX 5500 graphics card 4GB dedicated. I have the memory and storage figured out but I was wondering whether this graphics card would be enough to comfortably run V4 with addons like PMDG and FsLabs? I do realize that V5 is available but I have heard its pretty heavy on VRAM and I just dont want to deal with that. Any help is appreciated!

@ kyurem800 ,

P3D v5 and v4 specs are here:

For Add-ons it is best to check with their support forums.

My apologies, I should have been more clear in my question. I have looked at the requirements for V4 and I see that my graphics card is in between the minimum and recommended specs so my question really would be how well would V4 run since my graphics card is in that area?

@ kyurem800 ,

It would run v4.

How well it would run with Add-ons you mentioned it is best to check with their support forums.

Note:
V4 / V5 specs is about your entire PC.
