2 folders in documents, Prepar3D v4 and Prepar3D v5 problem

Post by SebastianBabik »

Hi,

Saved scenario plane, airport, weather, time is in the folder of Prepar3D v4 documents, OK but,
why the reading is from the Prepar3D v5 Files folder.

what did i break and how to change it ?
I adapt P3D only to my needs.
I would like to set the reading to be from the Prepar3D v4 documents folder (not v5)
Which file should I set the path to ?

best regards

I found a solution,

In case of problems with reading the scenarios, you need to supplement the ProgramData \ Lockheed Martin \ Prepar3D v4 \ scenarios.cfg file

[Entry.0]
Title = Emergency
Path = Scenarios \ Emergency
Required = True
Active = True
[Entry.1]
Title = Tutorial
Path = Scenarios \ Tutorials
Required = True
Active = True
[Entry.2]
Title = Example
Path = Scenarios \ Examples
Required = True
Active = True
Type = SCENARIO_TOOL_EXAMPLE_TYPE
[Entry.3]
Title = My Saved Scenarios
Path = Scenarios \ My Saved Scenarios
Required = True
Active = True
[Entry.4]
Title = Documents
Path = C: \ Users \ SEBASTIAN \ Documents \ Prepar3D v4 Files
Required = True
Active = True

Hi Sebastian
It seems it is an interesting solution when the document folder is not at the default location because sometimes P3D (v5) don't find it.
