Hi,
Is it adviseable to remove all the keys relevant to Views in the P3D key assignements if I'm using Chaseplane?
Thanks
Jason
Using Chaseplane for changing Views
Re: Using Chaseplane for changing Views
It is not advisable to use Chaseplane, at least not in v. 5. There are a number of threads dealing with that.

Re: Using Chaseplane for changing Views
Really? I’ve been using it for the last three weeks without any problems. Is this the official line and if so can you point me to it?

Ray,
This is a repeat of what I have seen Martyson post about it. My bad, but I have not used the product myself.

Re: Using Chaseplane for changing Views
Hi Jorgen. Understood but let me just reiterate I have had no problems with any version of P3D and Chaseplane and I’ve used the combo for a few years now.
Regarding Jason’s question, no, it isn’t. But to get the hat to work in the VC if you use FSUIPC you have to map look up, right, down and left to CTRL + arrow keys in Chaseplane and then assign those commands to the hat switch in FSUIPC using the button/switch option.
You can then pan inside the VC.

You need to post the link to verify exactly what you seen me say about Chaseplane.
I have never used Chaseplane.
