Just wondering if anyone else is still experiencing video card hang problems.
I am running :
I5-6600K CPU@3.5GHz
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming motherboard with 16GB Fast Ram (Have updated BIOS to latest version)
GTX1080 8GB Video Card (Installed latest Geforce drivers)
Windows 10 v2004
I have installed P3d V5 Hotfix2.

As long as I run P3d as it comes "out of the box"...no issues.
As soon as I install addons, such as Carenado, Ants Tigermoth, Orbx Scenery... the card hangs when I switch between Windowed screen and full screen. ( The device {NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1080} stopped working ....DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG)
I have installed the V5 patch from Carenado as well.
I have searched the net for this issue, but none of the suggestions have solved this challenge as yet.
Has anyone any ideas/suggestions?

@ Choppa,

Is your PC a home built / upgraded PC or a name brand store bought PC?

PC memory?

Hardware / Add-ons : yokes, pedals, AI traffic, ATC, weather program, which aircraft, scenery etc.?
Any special / custom setups like multiple monitors , viewers, projectors , Nvidia surround, or other software for them.
Are you using VR?

Hi Vaughan,
Home built...by a PC guru. No probs with V4...just V5
PC memory is 16GB
Saitek Pedals
Honeycomb Yoke
CH Throttle quadrant
Trackir5
2 Monitors
Carenado Add ons, Orbx Scenery.
As said before no probs with V4...just the Video Card hang problem with V5
