i have a question i did a flight and then i close P3D and i updade my nvdia driver and once i did it i ran P3D and all of sudden my HLSL Shadder are gone and P3D dont work

Hello, same issue for me but was after updating EZDok 3.0 to the latest version before starting the sim.

Happened to me as well, P3d V4.5 won't even start.

After seeing these reports about the HLSL shaders folder suddenly gone, I decided to check this also on my system.

I upgraded to the latest nVidia driver on the 24th, and did not see any issue with the upgrade or after that.

So this morning (local time) I flew both v. 4.5 HF3 and v. 5 HF2 without seeing any errors at all.

Also, the number of reports we have in these forums of this issue is below a dozen.

The conclusion therefore is this:

1. This is not an nVidia driver or driver update issue.

2. This is not a P3D issue.

Why is that? Because, if it was e genuine nVidia or P3D issue, it would affect everyone and we would see hundreds of reports, including from your truly.

I am fully aware that I might be starting a flame war here, but facts are facts, no matter how uncomfortable they are.

And don't even for a moment think that I am laughing my butt off writing this....

I am having the same issues.

If I watch the Prepar3d v4 folder as it loads up, at a certain point the Shaders HLSL folder gets deleted.
I have no idea what application is deleting the folder.
I can still load a flight but there are no visuals.

I have the same problem and the only 2 thing I did after my flight was update my nvdia driver and the once I open orbx central parralel42 was updating

Does anyone have immersion manager. They say that they delete their own shaders.

Try to reinstall the client and update Immersion Manager to the latest version. Let me know if that fixes anything.

That fixed my issue!

Fixed mine also, it appears ORBX doesn't have version 1.2.27 of the Immersion manager yet. I updated it today via Central which co incided with my issue, but updated from within the app and all is now good !
