Automatic Startup [RESOLVED]

When I turn on the computer *sometimes*, P3Dv4 automatically starts loading up by itself. Then I get a DirectX Diagnostic Tool window. Runs it test and no problem found. Is this because of a windows 10 update - or maybe I need to change something in the settings? I do not have the 4.5 update.

The automatic launch of an application is just one of those weird Windows 10 features. It will auto start an application that was running when it last shut down, and since P3D takes about a minute or more to shut the way down (it is running long after it disappears from your screen) this is easily triggered.

Wait at least two minutes after closing P3D before shutting down Windows.

Hello,

To add to downscc, you can also check the Task Manager to see if Prepar3D has shut down completely. During the shutdown process, Prepar3D might be moved to the "Background Processes" section.
