[RESOLVED] Framerate drop with view change and Orbx

Post by eray_kalelioglu »

Hi everyone. I bought Preper3D v4 yesterday. I did the setup then i opened the p3d. The first everything was normal but when i change the camera p3d was down. Before the change camera 60fps but after the change camera 4 fps you can see in picture, and at the same time when i change the camera, the sound is interrupted. Whats the problem? Thank you...

MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon

Were you using P3Dv3 (or other ) prior to installing P3Dv4?

Is the sound absent in external view?

Does the FPS stay at 4FPS in external view?

Before installing P3Dv4 did you check the downloads Checksum to verify you did not have a corrupted product download?

Were you using Windows10 before .. when P3Dv3 was working properly?

Why did you reformat your hard drive and install OS ?

I found the solution. I turn off the dynamic lighting. Now 120 Fps at external view. Thanks a lot :)

I have FPS locked at 25.
Dynamic lighting always ON.
Day and night my FPS is 24.9 using the default P3Dv4 jet, VC and external views.

No problem here with Orbx Base and 3 North America products (P3Dv4) installed.

The original issue appears to be resolved so I am locking this thread. If there is a separate issue besides dynamic lighting being performance heavy please post a new topic.
