v4.5 - How to permanently zoom to .50 instead of .30?

Postby gjereza » Fri Oct 02, 2020 1:36 am

Hi, I'm using version 4.5+ and Windows 10 on a single 27-inch Dell monitor with a 1070ti card. I'm not using Chaseplane or Ezca (aka EZdok). I don't think I have other add-ons that might affect this setting.

I tried changing the default .30 value to .50 but it didn't work. When I press the Backspace key it still goes back to .30.

Please help. Thank you.

Value in the file:
<Section Name="Camera.1.2">
<Property Name="Guid" Value="{C95EAB58-9E4A-4E2A-A34C-D8D9D948F078}" />
<Property Name="Title" Value="Virtual Cockpit" />
<Property Name="PanelOnlyView" Value="False" />
<Property Name="Zoom" Value="0.5" />
<Property Name="Translation" Value="0, 0, 0" />
<Property Name="SensorMode" Value="0" />
<Property Name="Rotation" Value="0, 0, 0" />
<Property Name="FieldOfView" Value="0, 0" />

The file:
....Users\...\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D_Default.fxml.

Why is the default .30 anyway? Why not .40, .60, or 1.0?

Hi
Try also to change the value in the camera.cfg which is in
C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4
