P3D 4.5 Avatar issues

Post by outrun74 »

Hi there,

I am having issues with the Avatar currently, if I detach it correctly shows my Avatar but it will not move with the keys assigned. I can only pan around.
Have tried external and 1st person views..
It will move if I load the Avatar as a vehicle which is strange, but I want to be able to detach and view my vehicle.
After googling I still have not been able to figure this out, any ideas anyone?

Thanks,
Outrun74

The only issues I have with the avatars is why do I have them at all? What I want to do is fly... I wish there was a way to turn them off, because they must be using resources I could employ better....

Jorgen , menu>options>General>application> untick Enable Avatar Mode and for outrun make sure it is ticked...
