He's within the minimum requirements. Not optimal, but then neither am I with a GTX 960 that has 4 GB of VRAM.

I am still confused about the insufficient RAM comment gentz. Yesterday, I did completed a mission from ULLI to KATL with the PMDG 777 at regular timing, it lasted aprx 10 hours total. I had kept an eye on progress throughout the flight and did not encountered any problems. However, I did tested the Aerosoft Airbus 319 earlier today and PD3v4.5 did crashed aprx 4ea times in the row. So it looks to me that with RAM 8.00GB it's sufficient correct?. I am actually doing one right now from KATL to KDEN with a PMDG 747 and so far so good and all addons are working as well. Any advise?
Your System Ram (8GB) is ok for the default P3D v4 setup.

Always test the default setup with default P3D aircraft and default P3D scenery.

System specs/requirements from initial P3D minimums to run P3D may need to be increased if you add Add-ons to the basic P3D program. Each Add-on developer will provide PC system requirements for their product(s).

Questions:
Which video card are you using?
How much video memory does it have?
Do you reboot your PC between each P3D flight or P3D test or before loading a new aircraft?
Best Regards,

Did I mistake the discussion on video ram with system ram? Here are the facts: https://www.prepar3d.com/system-requirements/

Minimum system RAM is 4GB so 8GB will certainly work. The error reports you pasted were all over the map and don't point to any one thing. I recommend you strip P3D of all addon's and get it to a plain vanilla configuration and verify that it works ok by itself. Only then should you add addons.

I notice a couple of Framework issues, so another path is to Google and learn how to use SFC and DISM to check all of your system files.

Hello Folks;I am still experiencing the same problem here while using the Aerosoft vehicles A3/1819/20/21. Posted below it's the data from the viewer history. Could someone take a look at it and advise on this issue please?. The most intriguing things it's that a few days ago, I was able to complete a whole 2 hour flight. Once return to retest, it's all happening again. System crashes aprx 30 minutes after splash screens appears, later on the programs freezes for a few seconds and then continues until the point when freezes, sound it's lost, and then the screen just goes as the image posted above on the topic. Also I have attempted to attached an image of the screen but so far not able to do so. Please suggest or advise?

Hello Gentz! Once again folks it happened the same way and timing last night after executing all steps and suggested steps listed with the "dxgi.dll". I have also updated the Graphics Driver on my system. This problems has being occurring only with the Aerosoft products than the PMDGs. Just last night and after applying the suggested remedies, I had attempted a flight again with an A320, it crashed and on the View Rep. below "9/14/19" showed that this time on the Fault Module Name was "Audiodg.exe" different from previous "Dxgi.dll") report. On the next attempt last night, amazingly the system did passed that point beyond without crashing (Push Back, Taxi, Take Off & Landing), however encountered some difficulty (plane began to act up out of control banking left to right during the flight out of control). This morning made another attempt and and once again did crashed at the same point and got another different faul name event report this time "facilities.dll" with an error msg on the screen which appeared . I have attempted to attach an image of the error msg but I am unable to do so with the tool bar above therefore I will listed below on a
note.
Note:
This device (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050) stopped working for the following reason DXGI-ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. Do you want to exit prepar3D@? Click Yes to exit, No to disable rendering to this device, or Cancel to keep using this device (prepar3Dmay crash). [/b]..................….And it did so CRASHED!....Any advise?. Do you a think that I should completely un-install and re-install the Aerosoft Application or there's a serious problem with my Prepar system?

Fernandito,

I would see what the Aerosoft tech support people has to say about this.

While you wait for them to reply, you might try to uninstall the Aerosoft products from your system, then update your device drivers, especially for audio and graphics, and see if P3D runs OK then.

Understood Sir, Thanks for the reply and assistance, greatly appreciated. Just a quick note, I had already updated the drivers yesterday. Breaking my head here with it. I just got the Airbus up flying, this time system did not crashed however had an awful take off, rotate did not sound off, actually crashed on the ground got it up in the air while running through the scenery and while climbing and it keeps stalling and not gaining altitude set for cruising. I just shut it off and will put it to the side for now, too frustrated. Seriously having too many issues this Aerosoft Airbuses indeed. Will turn to PMDGs for now.

Best

Here are some of the latest Notes Sir

1.That error in in Couatl.exe that is part of Dreamteam software. We have seen it often.
Faulting application name: Couatl.exe, version: 3.2.0.4244, time stamp: 0x5d49affc

2. The error message in your last post is in no way related to the Airbus or even P3D. Seraching in Google I can see it got something to do with a card reader software.
As you have so many problems with core Windows files, I suggest to make a repair installation of your Windows, and in case it doesnt work, wipe your disc and do a fresh install of your PC.

3. dxgi.dll is part of DirectX and if you check on that file via Google you see it is not uncommon for it to be replaced with an incorrect version by applications that are not nice. I would re-install Direct X; https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... aspx?id=35

4. And when you use Google, you will see it got nothing to do with our Bus.
Search for „p3d dxgi.dll“

5. We saw this error with FSX, FSX:SE and P3Dv3 several years ago and it occurred after a Windows 10 Update. It was resolved, but the Windows update that occurred two or three weeks ago has brought it back. I've seen it myself, and I know of two others who have it. It occurs randomly but infrequently for me and the others I know.

6. You can always try uninstalling and reinstalling Direct X as well as wiping your Graphics Drivers and installing the latest version.

I had some assistance to follow all this steps, advise and suggestions posted along with Techs of HP Smart friends who I have a subcription to perform the steps correctly along with me.

Strangely today I attempted to do a flight using am PMDG and experienced the same problem. During settings the program close on me twice. Then just seconds from take off it froze and had to start from scratch again. This time made to cruise altitude. Hopefully the flight will be completed but this crashing really makes it so frustrated. I am hoping that the problem it's not with Prepar.

Do you reboot your PC between all flights (before a new flight or any test flight)?
