I don't know if this issue has been already discussed, but when clicking Y to switch to slew mode the aircraft suddenly start turning around fast and so positioning it is almost impossible.
Anyone else noticed that ?

Re: SLEW ?
This is not a flightsim problem, it is a joystick/yoke problem.
As soon as the joystick/yoke is only minimally off center, the plane will go mad as soon as you press 'Y'.
I know this effect since St.Olim's day, when I plugged in a joystick into my MSFS (must have been Fs2k or so) for the very first time.
My solution is: Before I press 'Y' to enter slew mode, I press 'K', which is assigned to 'switch off joystick'.
Until P3Dv3 it was assigned so by default, for v4 I had to do the assignment via Settings (Just enter 'joystick' into the filter string of the key assignments, and you've got it).

Re: SLEW ?
My solution is to go to the Control UI and select Slew mode. Then delete everything you don't want from the default settings. For example, deleting the joystick axis from slew mode means it isn't going to bother you again while remaining active in normal flight mode.
