When crashing a plane, Prepar3D will CTD. It will show the "Crash" message at the top of the screen for ~5 seconds, then just go to the desktop. 9/10 times with no error messages. Occasionally it gives the "Prepar3D has stopped working" Windows message. This is reproducible ~70% of the time. It only happens when crashes are detected. If "Detect Crashes and Damage" is turned off then there are no problems. However, for my purposes I need to detect crashes. It doesn't seem to matter what the special effects settings are nor the display settings. I have uninstalled and reinstalled (although maybe not completely enough?). All drivers are up to date.
