P3D CTD interaction with FSUIPC
Re: P3D CTD interaction with FSUIPC
Same here, just for completeness. Win10, latest FSUIPC version, one successful start after installation, CTD immediately with the next start. Hotfix 2.
Re: P3D CTD interaction with FSUIPC
Hey there, I believe I'm having this issue as well, I'm having these really weird crashes whenever loading reaches 100% and I saw this thread and went ahead and tried to re-install FSUIPC as people had mentioned It would allow the sim not to crash for the next about 2 loads. And It worked! Re-Installing FSUIPC made it so P3D didn't crash the next time. I'm running Windows 10 and would be glad to help with whatever you need.

You may want to help on the FSUIPC forum here also:afonso_am wrote:Hey there, I believe I'm having this issue as well, I'm having these really weird crashes whenever loading reaches 100% and I saw this thread and went ahead and tried to re-install FSUIPC as people had mentioned It would allow the sim not to crash for the next about 2 loads. Re: P3D CTD interaction with FSUIPC
To all those suffering with either a crash on exit from P3D when FSUIPC is enabled, or a problem with P3D reloads where it either hangs or crashes and disappears as a background process only, or both problems, try version 4.959m of FSUIPC which is now available in the Download Links subforum.
Some functions in FSUIPC which are especially linked to the use of Lua plug-ins, especially those used by LINDA, have been completely re-written, and this seems to have fixed the problems for at least three users (so far -- awaiting more feedback).
Oddly enough I could never reproduce any problems with my Win 7 systems, and no one was reporting them on Win 7 at all either. It wasn't till I got P3D installed onto my Surface Pro (previously only really used for Internet access), which does use Win10, that I could reproduce similar issues and actually make some progress.

Re: P3D CTD interaction with FSUIPC
Hello
I was one of the users that first noticed this problem, I believe back around late december - early january.
Now that I am back home, I installed FSUIPC 4.964, but I still have the same problem. The only way I can use P3D v4 is always re-installing first FSUIPC4 and then loading P3D.
I have P3D 3.4.14.18870 (Hotfix#1). I am wondering if FSUIPC would work OK with P3D Hotfix#3 (3.4.22.19868)

As far as I know the current version of FSUIPC is the only version supported by FSUIPC for all P3D versions.
You see FSUIPC release information when you are on the FSUIPC forum/download page.

I'm pretty sure then that either you aren't actually using FSUIPC version 4.964, or one of your FSUIPC using add-ons is causing P3D to crash or hang on exit. With a proper clean close down the reload problem does not occur.WLIX261 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2017 12:39 pm I was one of the users that first noticed this problem, I believe back around late december - early january.

I support FSUIPC in my forum, and that is where you should be asking about this, not here.
