Hi to all,

so 378.72 did not work. Just did a test flight (KLAX/KDEN) and I ran out of memory while descending at 19.000 ft. It seems that this driver works with the PMDG 747V2 but not with the 777?

Greetings
Patrick

I had the same problem and tried many fixes that didn't work. Eventually, I backed up my Prepar3d.cfg file then deleted the one the program reads in the AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin folder.

I no longer had the OOM problems but had to reconfigure my settings in the simulator.

I didn't have time to compare the two cfg files but assume something changed that caused the issue.

The last hotfix is good simply there is the Nvidia driver vas leak from version 378+ many people have vas loading also at top of climb no more purge load with previous series so 376,33 or 376.60 is good. Some people don't have this iussue but the majority using new series have this problem. Probably nvidia has broken something i wish LM will recontact them to see what is happening.

The latest drivers cause OOM issues, I rolled back to 376.33 and it works flawlessly now.

Worked for me as well.

Thanks.

Just roll back to 376.33 (google it) and it will work, guys ;-) I tested also the hotfix driver but it did not fix anything. I did not only fly, I monitored the VAS and even after 5 minutes I could see what was happening:
VAS increased by around 100 MB each 5 minutes over the Atlantic ocean, with 376.33 totally stable even after 10 hours.

Hello,

i tried to delete the config.file and did all my settings again. Then I updated to the new 378.78 version and did a test flight from LFML to LOWG.

This time I did not ran out of memory but I got a strange new error. It said something like my GTX970 stopped working or stopped rendering? Then P3D crashed.

What does this mean? Is the roll back to 376.33 the only way to complete a fliught again? It's really annoying, especially because I don't have the time to do test flights every day.
Perhaps I shouid leave my PMDG planes in the hangar until P3D V4 is released?

Greetings to you from Germany
Patrick

Good to hear you did not run out of memory.

For other problems with your hardware you may want to start a new topic in the forum.

:( I just installed a brand new GTX 1080Ti ... Oldest driver available is 378.78. The only other one (and newest) is 378.92, which is what I have. We experienced OOMs *and* something about the driver of the graphics card stopped working (forgot the exact language, earlier, at another time).

Same problem here after installing ORBX England. Flying from germany, I have entered STAR TIM1J at ERING, and both times CTD when turning at KOPUL.
I will check my driver if WIN10 have auto updated it (frekin' irritating) from my stable .33 driver.
Else I will try to disable EGLL and EGSS when only flying into EGKK.
