I have just updated to Hotfix 3 - 3.4.22.19868 and Nvidia drivers 378.49.
All working well.
I had to uninstall VRS Superbug as it has not been updated to work with Hotfix 3 yet.
Otherwise, all addons as per my signature.

So main solution is to do a clean reinstall of newest P3D? I just tried to update via client only but got an error message. Will try clean reinstall and let everyone know how I go..

So...upgraded Client only with the recommended Nvidia drivers and the awful flickering has gone. However framerate is only 28-30 fps. That's with twin 980ti cards and sli enabled. With one card and sli disabled I get an easy 60-70fps.

Summat is still not right! I don't really want to revert to earlier drivers because some of the latest game products use these new drivers.

It's not too much to hope that LM sort out what's happening, and soon?

BTW does Microsoft FS have this problem? I only have Prepar3d so cannot tell.

Hello
Always same problem !!!
After installing hotfix3 (3.4.18.19475) and the latest version of the nvidia driver the problem persists and remains unchanged.
The menu shakes and the program remains too slow!

Fizzelle,

I had the same problem.
Then, I did a full clean reinstallation of P3D, Nvidia driver, AS2016, Orbx, and all other addons.
Now everything works perfectly. Is uncomfortable, I know, but it is crucial in my system.

Just confirming a clean reinstall of P3D to latest release has fixed the issue. I am still running an Nvidia driver 376.33.

As OP I would have called by more quickly to thank LM for addressing the issue however I jumped ship and replaced my twin 980ti setup for a Titan X Pascal so my SLI woes are no more (until I can afford a second Titan of course!)

I am no wiser!

It seems that others that have reverted back to an earlier driver have "cured" their problems!

The whole point of the new Hotfix is, of course, to fix the issue with the latest drivers.

Has anyone fixed the SLI problem with the latest Nvidia drivers as specified for use on LM's Hotfix recommendations? Can you upgrade accordingly and report if the fix is still there after the upgrade?

Thank you.

378.49 drivers with HF3 - no issues. Make sure you select Clean Install when you update.

Yes. A 'Client' only update to v3.4.22.19868 with a non-clean install of Nvidia drivers 378.49 and all is well again in SLI mode.

Sigh...Looks like you are lucky! Didn't work for me.

Am girding my loins for a full re-install but might wait first for Nvidia update to newer drivers on the offchance...

New Nvidia drivers out 378.66. Has anyone tested them with HF3?
