P3D V3 SDK problems

Hey guys. I'm a fresh developer and a fan of P3D. Recently ,I created a AI aircraft using P3D V3 SDK with visual studio 2008,but it didn't work at all. Is there a need of higher version of vs.Thanks a lot.
